What is a soft wash?
‘Soft washing’ and ‘pressure washing’ are two of the most common methods for exterior house cleaning (or house wash). At Quality Ensure we will make sure to use the most appropriate method that best suits your home.
The Difference Between Soft Washing and Pressure Washing
Soft washing uses low-pressure and specialized solutions to remove dirt, algae, mold and debris from your home’s roof or windows. With our soft wash method, we use a biodegradable chemical to loosen up the dirt and grime. Then, a high volume of water (but with very little pressure) is applied to the surface.
Pressure washing uses high power to blow away dirt and grime with force. It does this by applying a great amount of pressure to clean your exterior surfaces. Chemical solutions may be applied, but the high-pressure water spray is usually enough to remove pesky elements from your home’s exterior.
While pressure washing is highly effective for exterior house cleaning, driveways, or hardscape – it can cause damage if not done properly. Untrained contractors can damage your paint, blow window seals, or destroy your landscaping.
At Quality Ensure, we understand the difference between soft washing vs pressure washing and will assess which method best suits the surface we are cleaning to protect your home.
